While guests will come to Faye’s Ice Cream Parlor for the amazing ice cream and frozen treats, we want them to keep coming back for the experience our fantastic team creates every time they greet a customer with a smile and serve them a scoop of happiness. Scooper
Job Description
A Scooper is responsible for providing hospitality to customers who enter our ice cream shop. Scoopers educate our customers on the ice creams and options. Scoopers maintain a clean work and customer environment at all times. This includes adhering to company cleaning procedures and local health codes. Each scooper works as part of a larger team, always prepared for customers and clearly communicating with co-workers and shift leads. Scoopers run and manage the register with precision and clarity.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old at the time of hire
- Have open availability especially during nights, weekends, and able to work past 10 p.m.
- Able to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Attention to detail and ability to think creatively
- Able to work calmly and with a smile in high-stress situations
- Energetic, positive, and outgoing personality
- Willingness to learn and work well in a team environment
- Able to work on your feet for at least 6-8 hours
Responsibilities
Deliver Hospitality
- Greet each customer with a smile
- Offer flavor samples and overall product knowledge
- Go above and beyond for customers even while busy
- Deliver the best product you can each and every time

Shift Lead
Responsibilities
Shift leaders are responsible for delivering on our promise to be a welcoming community gathering place. This role is responsible for leading the team in delivering great service, consistent scoops, and good vibes during every shift. Shift leaders function as the “manager on duty” and are responsible for all business execution during their shift including cash handling, cleanliness, problem solving, keeping team morale high, and delighting our customers.
